To make this blood drive as successful as possible the CHLA has asked us to have a sign up sheet prior to the Blood Drive so they can prepare for the amount of people donating blood to make good use of their resources and have enough staff there to facilitate. They just want to know that they will have a good amount of people coming to donate so they don't come out there for no reason. This is not to say that people who do not sign up will be turned away. We welcome anyone and everyone to join us and donate! The goal is, afterall, to get as many people there as possible. It would just be a great help for us to plan a head and make sure that we will at least have 30 people signed up.

 

To sign up please email us at GHkidsevent@yahoo.com and provide us with your name & phone number. If you have any questions or concerns and wish to sign up with us over the phone, please state that in your email and we will provide you with our phone number. As of right now, the CHLA only have available resources to schedule 2.5 donors every 15 minutes. So space is somewhat limited. If you wish to donate at a certain time please email us with the time you'd like and we will put you down for that time. However, we cannot guarantee that the time you want will be open until you contact us and we verify that no one else has already requested that time. We have made an online viewing of the sign-up sheet for those wanting to sign up where you can see what time slots are open and which are already filled. Once you contact us and a time is established for you we will add your name onto our hardcopy list that we'll have with us at the Drive. Your full name will not appear on the online sign up sheet for all to see. We will simply put the word "TAKEN" in that particular time slot so people are aware it is no longer available.(*Note: You still need to provide us with your name and phone number regardless*) Times will be given out on a first come, first serve basis - meaning who ever contacts us first requesting that time will get it. If you do not have any preference to which time you'd like to donate we will assign one for you and email you back with your time. If we find that we are getting more people wanting to donate than we anticipated we will look into getting more staff there to help so we can accommodate the larger amount of people wishing to donate. Please also note that this sign-up sheet is only for the Blood Drive.

 

For those who wish to donate but do not know what time they can make it there, please stop by the "Maxmobile" located in the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel parking lot on the day of the event between 8:30am-noon and they will try to work out a time with you. We want to reiterate that we do not want people thinking that can't donate if they haven't signed-up. That's not the case. Everyone is welcome.
